Our vision, to know Jesus and to make him known, is worked out in many ways in our church:
- We believe that Jesus Christ died to save us all
- When we accept Jesus into our lives we are baptised as a step of faith and a public declaration of how we intend to live the rest of our lives
- We believe that every member of the congregation has an important part to play in the life of the church and we encourage everyone to join in
- We seek to follow God's word as written in the Bible
- In prayer we talk to God. We hope to do this wherever we are and
whenever we need to, but we also set aside time to come together and pray as God's family - As a 'work in progress' we aim to reach out into our local community to help with the needs we see. We may not always get it right but we remain open to change, suggestion and God's leading.
We are a Baptist Church and an active member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
